MAC'S PL-50 VERTICAL PLATFORM WHEELCHAIR LIFT — ELECTRICHOMECARE.COM

Mac's PL-50 Vertical Home Lift

PL-50

The PL-50 is Mac's standard lower-rise residential vertical platform lift. It is engineered for everyday indoor or outdoor home use and uses a non-slip platform, constant-pressure controls, low roll-on access, an automatic access ramp and protective railing.

  • Maximum lifting height: approximately 50–51 inches
  • Rated load in current technical literature: up to 750 lb
  • Standard platform: 32" x 48" straight-through
  • Optional 36" x 54" and 36" x 60" configurations
  • 90-degree exit platform options available
  • Manual emergency lowering / hand crank
  • Indoor or outdoor installation

Household Power & Weather Protection

Mac's describes the PL-series drive as operating from ordinary household electrical power, with its electrical system raised above ground and protected against moisture. The finish uses an automotive-grade powder coat for additional outdoor durability.

Constant-pressure operation: the operator holds the control while the platform is moving, allowing movement to stop when the control is released.

MAC'S PL-72 VPL WHEELCHAIR ELEVATOR — ELECTRO-PEDIC.COM

Mac's PL-72

PL-72

The PL-72 extends the PL-series concept to a maximum lifting height of approximately 72 inches / 6 feet. It is intended for residential applications such as porches, decks, raised entries and other elevation changes where a 50-inch lift is not enough.

  • Maximum rise: 72"
  • Up to 750 lb rated load in current technical literature
  • 10 feet-per-minute listed travel speed
  • AC or optional DC configurations documented
  • Straight-through and 90-degree platform arrangements

Platform Options

Mac's literature documents multiple platform formats, including the standard 32" x 48" platform, 36" x 54" and 36" x 60" larger platforms, plus 90-degree exit layouts. Options have also included safety pans, solid side panels, upper landing gates, interlocks and call/send controls.

MAC'S PL-90 HIGHER-RISE VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFT — ELECTROPEDIC.COM

Mac's PL-90

PL-90

The PL-90 increases the maximum lift height to 90 inches while retaining the PL-series residential platform-lift design.

  • Maximum lifting height: 90"
  • Rated load: 750 lb maximum in Mac's technical specification
  • Standard 32" x 48" straight-through platform
  • 36" x 54" and 36" x 60" options
  • 10 FPM listed speed
  • 115 VAC AC-drive specification; DC option documented
  • 12" automatic lowering ramp
  • Manual lowering device / hand crank

For Taller Residential Elevation Changes

A 90-inch rise can serve applications where the upper landing is substantially higher than a typical porch. Final selection, landing gates, permits, clearances, platform configuration and code requirements should be reviewed for the specific property before installation.

MAC'S EXTENDED VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFTS — ELECTROEASE.COM

Mac's EVL-107

EVL-107

The Extended Vertical Lift family is intended for applications requiring substantially more rise than the PL-series. Mac's currently identifies an EVL-107, providing a lift-height class of approximately 107 inches.

Mac's EVL-121

EVL-121

Mac's also identifies an EVL-121 for still-higher residential applications. The manufacturer states that extended lifts can be produced in higher rises, with 134-inch configurations and custom units beyond that.

Extended Vertical Lift capacity: Mac's states that its Extended Vertical Lift can accommodate up to 750 lb and most electric wheelchairs and scooters. The company documents higher lifting heights including 107", 121", 134" and custom rises beyond those standard heights.

LOS ANGELES MAC'S VPL VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFTS — LA-LOS-ANGELES.COM

A vertical platform lift may be useful where a ramp would require too much horizontal space. The correct Mac's model depends principally on vertical rise, platform size, entry/exit orientation, user and mobility-device weight, available landing space, local building requirements and whether the lift will be installed indoors or outdoors.
